Interpreting Services

Bridging the Gap Rehab Services has been dedicated to providing oral and written translation services for over 15 years. Our team members provide Spanish interpretation and written translation services for children (ages birth to 3 years old) enrolled in the Illinois Early Intervention Program.

Our interpreters are fluent in Spanish and have passed all oral examinations and certifications required by the Illinois Early Intervention Program. We are trusted, compassionate liaisons for Spanish speaking families receiving Early Intervention Services for their child.

Our services help families understand the care medical professionals are providing their child. We help bridge the communication gap so the child can progress to their best potential.

We provide oral interpretation and written translation services for the following:

• Oral interpretation to families receiving Early Intervention Services: occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental therapy, speech therapy, nutrition & feeding therapy, Early Intervention evaluations and medical diagnostic appointments.
• Written translation services for reports and Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) and educational materials distributed by disciplines involved in the child's care.
